The Siena College Pep Band:
The Siena College Pep Band consists of between 30- 40 Siena College students.  We are dedicated individuals that attend all the Siena College Basketball Home Games to cheer on our teams.  We travel to the MAAC Tournament and if we cheer hard enough we travel to the NCAA as well.  We are looking for dedicated musicians that enjoy playing music as much as watching college basketball.

 

When does the Siena Pep Band perform?
The Siena College Pep Band performs at all Men's and Women's Home Basketball Games, before, during, and after the Games.  The band also performs at various athletic events as well as for the Siena community.

What is the Siena Pep Band practice schedule?
Sundays 8:00PM- 10:00PM
One Other Evening During the Week
*Practice times may vary according to class schedules and needs.

 

When are tryouts?
The first meetings are Tuesday, September 4 and Tuesday, September 11 2012 from 9-10 PM in Turchi Theater. Attendance at the first meetings and tryouts will be mandatory!

 

What to Expect during Tryouts?

Tryouts consist of performance pieces from the band (provided) as well as scale rudiments and sight-reading.

*Must be able read and perform music as well as cheer, scream, and get excited for Men's and Women's Basketball Games!!!
