When Camille Norman was looking for a job after graduating from Siena College in May, she didn't have to look very far. She has been hired as the new assistant water polo coach at her alma mater, just months are completing one of the greatest careers in program history.
A two-time All-MAAC First Team selection, Norman graduated with her name all over the Siena record book. She holds Siena's career assists record (167), and is tied for the program's all-time record in points scored (382) with fellow Siena great Lauren Garrigan '09. Additionally, Norman ranks second in goals (215), third in ejections drawn (132), and fifth in steals (111).
Norman helped lead the Saints to uncharted waters during her career, guiding the team to its first two MAAC Tournaments in 2008 and 2010. Her senior season featured the program's first-ever wins over Marist and George Washington.
"We are so excited to have Camille continue to be a part of the team in her new role as an assistant coach," said Siena head coach Ellen Howe. "She has a great deal of experience and knowledge and will be a tremendous asset to the team. She is a great role model for all of our younger student-athletes."
