LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - A total of seven student athletes from the Siena Water Polo team have been named to the Association of Collegiate Water Polo (ACWPC) All-Academic Team. Recent graduate Traci Robertson '12 and rising junior Brittany Tayler received the highest honor as they were named to the "outstanding" distinction.

Robertson and Tayler both achieved the highest status by posting GPA's of 3.71 or higher. The duo, along with recent graduate Katie Ness, is all members of Siena Athletics' most recent 4.0 Club.

Ness received "superior" status along with rising senior Rebecca Robinson and rising sophomore Kori Swieter, which is reserved for student athletes with a cumulative GPA between 3.41 and 3.70.

Rising sophomores Stephanie Bundas and Madeline Hurley also received recognition as they earned "excellent" distinction for accruing GPA's between 3.20 and 3.40.

Additionally, the team as a whole posted a 3.10 GPA at the time of nomination, ranking the Saints as one of just 20 programs across the Division I, II and III levels of the ACWPC membership to achieve a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or better.

In all, over 250 student athletes from across the country were honored with awards in what was one of the largest fields ever assembled.
