Coming into the regular season finale against Villanova, the Siena Water Polo team knew exactly what they needed: a victory over the Wildcats by two more goals. But the Saints could not pull it off, as Villanova clinched the final spot in the MAAC Championships with an 11-10 overtime win against Siena. [read more]
Siena's Water Polo's playoff dreams will come down to the final game of the season. The Saints were swept in the first day of MAAC contests, losing to Wagner 16-5 and Marist 14-6. For the Saints to make the MAAC Championships, they must defeat Villanova by more than two goals and the Wildcats need to lose to Marist. [read more]
