Siena water polo continued an extremely-challenging out-of-conference schedule Thursday with a 12-6 loss to #13 Indiana in a neutral-site game held in Riverside, California. Siena's last three losses have all come to teams ranked in the top 20 in the country.

The Saints (4-8) fell victim to an early scoring blitz, and were down 5-0 after one period of play. However, Siena trimmed the deficit with a strong second stanza, trailing just 6-3 after the first 16 minutes of play.

Senior Camille Norman then continued the rally, scoring the first goal of the third quarter after just 29 seconds of play. The Saints were now down just 6-4, but would get no closer as Indiana scored six of the game's final eight goals.

Norman finished with three goals, while freshman Lea Allen added two goals and a pair of ejections drawn.

Siena continues play in the Golden State with games against Vanguard and Concordia on Friday.
