For the second straight day, the Saints tried to rally in the fourth quarter but came up short losing both games in the MAAC/CWPA Crossover.
The rally started in the first game against George Washington (6-5) when the Saints trailed 8-1 going into the final quarter. Siena would score six goals in the eight minutes but could not gain the lead, falling by a final score of 11-7.
Lea Allen led the Saints with her second hat trick of the season, all goals coming in the final quarter. Four other players scored for Siena, including Cally Timm, Rebecca Robinson, Stephanie Bundas, and Melanie Boehrig. Boehrig also contributed a team-high three assists in the loss.
In the second game, Siena allowed nine different players to score as they fell to Harvard (6-4) by the final score of 20-6.
The Saints shot just .214 percent in the contest, with only one goal coming in the second half. Rebecca Robinson led the way for Siena with a pair of goals. Allen had team-high three assists while Boehrig and Timm dished out a pair.
Stephanie Pouder started in both contests for Siena, recording seven saves in each game, while Madeline Hurley tallied five in each.
It is the first 0-4 start for the Saints since the 2010 season. Siena will try and get back on the winning track when they host Utica in the Siena Invite March 2, at 11 a.m. It is one of only two home contests the Saints will have this year.
