The Siena volleyball team looks to make it a winning weekend when it hosts Niagara today at 1 p.m. in the ARC. The Saints have three matches remaining, and will likely need to win them all to make the conference Tournament later this month.

Volleyball Stays Perfect in MAAC
Junior Jacqueline Skeen had a match-high 10 kills in just 14 swings to lead Siena to its fourth straight MAAC win to start the season Saturday at Niagara. Taylor Akana added eight kills and Haley Howell handed out 35 assists in the three-set (25-21, 25-13 and 25-21) sweep.

Scouting Siena
- Siena snapped a four-match losing streak with a convincing 3-1 win over Canisius yesterday - Today the team will be holding its second annual "Dig Pink" event to help raise money and awareness for the fight against Breast Cancer - Senior Taylor Akana was named to the CoSIDA Capital One District 1 All-Academic team this week
- Akana enters this weekend's matches with 1,641 kills (2nd all-time at Siena) and 1,305 digs (5th all-time)
- Haley Howell has been named MAAC Rookie of the Week five times this season
- Jacqueline Skeen is 4th in the MAAC in blocks (1.05) and ninth in hitting percentage (.248)

Scouting Niagara
- Niagara won the MAAC Championship three straight years from 2009-11
- Junior Amanda Sedore leads the Purple Eagles and ranks fifth in the MAAC with 2.9 kills per set. She is the reigning MAAC Player of the Week.
- Junior libero Allison Reis leads Niagara and ranks fifth in the MAAC with 4.1 digs per set
- The Purple Eagles picked up a huge five set win at Iona last Saturday
