Members of the Siena volleyball team spent much of Sunday afternoon visiting the Ronald McDonald House in Albany where they prepared a lasagna dinner for the residents.
The initiative is part of the BlueShield of Northeastern New York Saints in the Community program.
"The team had a great team visiting the house," SAAC president Elizabeth Ives said. "All of the families were really nice. The volleyball team loved the opportunity to get out and give back to the community."
Throughout the course of the academic year, each of Siena's 18 Division varsity teams prepare a meal at the Ronald McDonald House. This is the eighth year of the partnership.
