Nadiege Honore led the Saints with 19 kills. Aubrey Bobo contributed 18 and Burgandy McCurty had 16.
The two teams battled back-and-forth through two ultra competitive first games. Fairfield won the first game 34-32 and Siena took the second 38-36. The Stags broke free for a 30-14 win game three, but Siena responded with a 30-26 win in the fourth game.
Fairfield led 13-11 in the decisive fifth game before Siena rallied to take a 14-13 lead. The Stags regained the lead, 15-14, following consecutive attack errors by Siena.
