Christie Gustafson led all players with 13 kills in a losing effort for Siena. The Rams survived for a 30-26 win in the first game after Siena rallied briefly from a 29-20 deficit. The second game went the distance and after the Saints fought off three game points, Fordham earned a 32-30 win. In the decisive third game, the Saints built a seemingly insurmountable 28-25 lead before Fordham rallied to win the final five points and the match.

In addition to Gustafson, freshman Nadiege Honore collected double figure kills with 10. The Saints played well at the net, collecting 21 blocks, but Fordham had a more effective back row defense, out-digging the Saints 44-35.
