LAWRENCEVILLE,N.J.-The Siena volleyball team (13-5/3-0 MAAC) rallied from a 2-1 deficit to earn a critical road victory over Rider University (9-8/1-1 MAAC) Sunday afternoon. Jennifer Corkum (Newtown, Conn./Newtown) sparked the Saints with a 27-kill, six-block performance.

Lauren Weber (Sayville, N.Y./Connetquot) added 20 kills and 42 digs for the victors, who also earned a MAAC win over Loyola yesterday. Senior Sarah Watkins tallied 58 assists and 24 digs from her setter spot for the Saints.

For Rider, freshman Jacyln Levi (Exton, PA/Bishop Shanahan) had 16 kills and 20 digs, senior Evette Hoeffner (Fairlawn/Fairlawn) had 15 kills and 30 digs, and sophomore Amy Householder (Darlington, PA/Blackhawk) added 11 kills and 14 digs. Sophomore Laura Berger (Valhalla, NY/Our Lady of Good Counsel) added 52 assists.

The Broncs built a 2-1 advantage winning the first game 30-25 and the third 30-26. The Saints took game two 30-13, game four 30-27, and the decisive fifth game 15-3.

Siena returns to action on Wednesday evening at home against Syracuse. Game-time is set for 7 p.m.
