Amanda Sawlsville made the most of her opportunity Saturday, killing five of her eight attacks

Seven Saints had five kills or more, and Siena improved to 3-1 in the MAAC with a 3-0 sweep of Saint Peter's in Jersey City Saturday. Rachel Stoklosa led all Siena players with 10 kills, and Lesli Akeo posted a match high 19 digs.
Siena was never seriously threatened, winning 25-16, 25-14 and 25-17.
Sarah Sivertson had 39 assists and spread the ball around brilliantly.
Freshman Meghann Wright killed five of eight attacks, as did senior Amanda Sawlsville. Jacqueline Skeen had nine kills in 15 attacks, and junior star Taylor Akana killed seven of her 16 attacks. Freshman Christina Monroe may emerged off the bench with eight kills in 13 attacks.
For the match, Siena had 50 kills and 54 digs, compared to 23 kills and 37 digs for Saints Peter's. The Saints also cut down on their errors dramatically, finishing with just 10 attack errors and five service errors.
Lauren Beherns led all players with 11 kills for the Peacocks.
The Saints try to finish the week 3-0 when they take on Manhattan tomorrow at 2 p.m.
