GENERAL: Another gifted talent who will see action from the start...Has great leaping ability, and can finish from the back row...Versatile skill sets enable her to play throughout rotation.

BEFORE SIENA: Named a Scholar Athlete, Super 70 Select Team selection, All-League and All-Section as a junior and senior at White Plains...Selected team captain and "Best Attacker" as a senior.

PERSONAL: Born October 5, 1993 in the Bronx...Daughter of James Jackson and Jacqueline Skeen...Chose Siena because she loved the atmosphere and small class sizes...Has only been playing competitive volleyball for three years, yet qualified for Junior Olympics in 2009 and 2010 and helped team make regional finals in 2011.

PIERRE ON SKEEN: Jackie is very athletic and a natural leaper...Despite standing only 5-7, she can touch the basketball rim! She comes from the top 18-U club in her region, Downstate Juniors...Jackie can hit front and back row and will challenge for immediate playing time. We're excited about her future with the program."

Where do you see yourself in another five years: I see myself pursuing my dream of becoming a Physical Therapist

My superstitions are: If you point at a cemetery your finger will fall off

If I didn't play volleyball, I would: Run track

What is that one thing, you can't do without: Love
