GENERAL: Talented middle hitter with great size and a powerful swing...Comes from a winning volleyball program...Dedicated work ethic...Has improved her footwork and all around game...Could be a major force at the net on both offense and defense...Will be called upon in an expanded role this season.

AS A JUNIOR: Played in 14 matches and 27 sets...Recorded 13 kills and 10 blocks...Posted a .176 attack percentage.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Played in 16 matches and 20 sets...Posted 14 kills and a .273 attack percentage...Averaged .35 blocks per set.

AS A FRESHMAN: Appeared in four matches and four sets...Killed one of her four attacks and collected one dig.

PERSONAL/COMMUNITY: Born January 23, 1987 in Hartford...Chose Siena because of its location and the size of the campus...Older sister Denise attended Merrimack College...The daughter of Zdzislaw and Roberta Kruglik.

BEFORE SIENA: Lettered in volleyball and basketball for four years at Coventry...Named First Team All-State and First Team All-Conference as a senior...Led Coventry to Class S State Championship in 2003 and 2004...Was Named State Championship Game MVP in 2004 and selected to the Senior All-Star Game...Coventry finished 2004 season undefeated and Kruglik was honored with the team's Leadership Award...A sociology major.
