GENERAL: Preseason All-MAAC selection...Gifted talent who seems poised for a breakthrough season...Has great leaping ability, and can finish consistently at the 10-foot line...A true middle in the mold of three-time MAAC Player of the Year Burgandy McCurty '10.

2012: MAAC All-Tournament Team selection...Played and started 31 of 32 matches, tallying 300 kills and a team-high 110 blocks...Her 2.46 kills per set were fourth on the team and .264 attack percentage was second best...Posted double digit kills in 14 matches, including each of the last four...Had 14 kills and hit .385 in MAAC semifinal win over Canisius (11/17) and 11 kills and eight blocks in MAAC Championship loss to Fairfield (11/18)...Posted season-high 17 kills in key five-set win at Iona (10/7).

2011:COBRA Magazine All-Northeast Honorable Mention selection...Led team with 91 blocks...Third on squad with 1.89 kills/set and 178 kills...Played in 26 of 28 matches and 94 sets...Posted double figure kills seven times (all against MAAC teams)...Had 10 kills and 10 blocks in 3-1 home win over Loyola (Md.) (10/23).

BEFORE SIENA: Named a Scholar Athlete, Super 70 Select Team selection, All-League and All-Section as a junior and senior at White Plains...Selected team captain and "Best Attacker" as a senior.

PERSONAL:Born October 5, 1993 in the Bronx...Daughter of James Jackson and Jacqueline Skeen...Chose Siena because she loved the atmosphere and small class sizes...Only played competitive volleyball for three years scholastically, yet qualified for Junior Olympics in 2009 and 2010 and helped team make regional finals in 2011.

COACH PIERRE SAYS:"Jackie's game has seen big improvement and we have high hopes for her this year. She has the ability to be the top middle in the conference if she continues to work hard.
