GENERAL...Captain this season...The most experienced member of this year's squad and the projected opening day starter at libero...Versatile talent, who has seen meaningful action in front and back row throughout her Siena career... Possesses great athleticism and remarkable leaping ability...Quick, skilled competitor with great court vision and a good knowledge of the game...Made an immediate impact in the MAAC as a freshman and has built on that success the past two seasons.

AS A JUNIOR...Made the seamless transition to libero where she saw the majority of her action...Appeared in 24 of 26 matches, finishing third on the team with 170 digs...Notched 10 service aces and 26 kills.

AS A SOPHOMORE...Saw action in 28 of 30 matches and 101 games...Killed 114 of her 418 attacks (.112)...Second on the team with 303 digs, amassing exactly three per game...Registered 16 aces and 17 assists.

AS A FRESHMAN...Twice selected MAAC Rookie of the Week (9/21 and 10/8)...Played in all 28 matches and 102 total games...Finished third on team with 273 kills and 2.7 kills per game...Tallied 27 service aces--second on team...Averaged three digs per game (301 total)...Recorded 13 assists and 13 blocks...Collected 18 kills and eight digs in win over cross-town rival Albany (9/10)...Had season-high 15 digs in upset triumph over Villanova (10/5).

PERSONAL/BEFORE SIENA...Selected New York State Player of the Year after leading Eden to the State Championship as a senior...Named to the All-ECIC and All-Western New York teams...All-State First-Team junior and senior seasons...Also excelled in softball being named All-ECIC as a senior...Has older brother (Jeremy) and younger sister (Janey)...The daughter of Lawrence and Bonnie Wierzba.
