Siena Women's Tennis Excels in Classroom

Siena put more student-athletes on the MAAC Women's Tennis All Academic Team than any other school, placing seven members on the 2010 team. "We take great pride in the accomplishments of our student-athletes on and off the court," Head Coach Andy Christodoulou said. "We expect our players to be valuable members of the Siena community, contributing in the classroom, community and on the court. These seven student-athletes are leading the way." Jennifer Galante (Newington, Conn.) is a sophomore English major with a 3.44 GPA. Lauren Garbade (Conklin, N.Y.) is a senior accounting major with a 3.61 GPA. Dinka Keric (Utica, N.Y.) is a senior finance major with a 3.58 GPA. Jennifer Messing (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) is a junior marketing and management major with a 3.22 GPA. Nicole Ross (Latham, N.Y.) is a sophomore mathematics major with a 3.60 GPA. Jasleen Sandhu (Latham, N.Y.) is a sophomore undecided business major with a 4.00 GPA. Kellie Scullin (Liverpool, N.Y.) is a sophomore undecided arts major with a 3.31 GPA. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
