Denisa Hluchova returned to top singles for the Saints and claimed victory over Marist's Yana Tikhonka, but it wasn't enough to overcome a strong Marist effort in a 5-2 setback to the visiting Red Foxes in Loudonville Wednesday. Marist won four of six singles matches and swept the doubles competition in earning the conference win.

Hluchova won in straight tie-breakers, 7-6 (7-5) and 7-6 (7-5). Julia Lebedev earned Siena's (7-4) other point at third singles 6-2, 2-6 and 10-6 over Marist's Annabel Hicks. Marist's Diana Perachio, Yana Krugly, Megan Gureck and Courtney McGeever each won their singles matches.
