Women's Tennis Splits Southern MAAC Swing
Saints Fall at Loyola, defeat Saint Peter's in MAAC Spring Openers

Andrea Disponzio easily won her two matches at top singles this past weekend, filling in for teammate Denisa Hluchova, as Siena split a pair of MAAC matches with Loyola and Saint Peter's. Loyola defeated the Saints 5-2 on Saturday, but the Saints rallied to topple Saint Peter's 7-0 on Sunday.

Senior Betsy Brookins also won both her matches this past weekend for Siena. Brookins defeated Loyola's Gina Turturiello after Turturiello was forced to retire and earned a hard-fought three-set decision Sunday over Saint Peter's Priscilla Davis.

Siena hosts Stony Brook on Saturday at 3 p.m.
