General: A very mature player, and a true student of the game...Possesses a comprehensive game, and knows how to "get up" mentally and handle any situation...Stays focused on the task at hand and never lets a few misses spoil her game...Competed in many USTA tournaments in high school gaining extensive match game experience...An ambitious player who takes her tennis and academics very seriously...A very loyal, nice, sincere teammate and a quality person who will contribute to Siena community in many ways.

Before Siena: Attended Kennebunk High School where she has been a Daniel Cardillo Scholarship Fund recipient since 2009...This scholarship funds are awarded to teenagers who show exculpatory dedication and passion to their sport, and do their personal best to reach their goals and dreams in their sport...The 2011 State of Maine singles high school champion (posted a perfect 18-0 record)...Reached the #2 state (Maine) ranking and #9 in USTA New England Section...Went 25-18 in USTA Tournament play between 2010 and 2011.

Personal: Started playing Tennis when she was four years old...Born May 22, 1994 in Kennebunk, Maine...The daughter of Lisa and Steve Varano of Kennebunk Maine. Has an older sister, Judith, and plans to major in Political Science.

Why did you choose Siena?: The team was super welcoming and Coach Christodoulou made me feel like I was part of the team before I committed.
