Andy Christodoulou begins his third season as Head Women's Tennis Coach at Siena College. Christodoulou guided the Saints to a fourth place MAAC finish in his first year with the program after taking over the reins in September of 2009.

Christodoulou has worked in the local tennis circuit for the better part of the last decade, serving as an instructor at Tri City Tennis and Fitness Club and Wolfert's Roost Country Club. Currently, he is the Chair of the USTA Eastern/Northern Regions Nominating Committee. Also he serves as member of the USTA's Northern Region's Executive Board.

Christodoulou has, and continues to, coordinate several USTA and World Team Tennis Leagues in the Capital District Area.

"I am very excited to have the opportunity to coach at Siena College," Christodoulou said. "It's a great program with hard-working and motivated student-athletes. It is a privilege to work with the entire Siena community, and I am happy to be a part of it. We have a team that is hungry to learn and improve. Siena College and the Athletic Department is a class act above most D-I programs. I have been very pleasantly surprised with the excellence and the high standards."

Christodoulou grew up in Cyprus and moved to Albany, N.Y. in 1983 where he attended Junior College in Albany (currently Sage College). He also attended Siena College and SUNY Albany during the summer sessions, and in 1986, he graduated from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh with a BS in accounting and a minor in computer science and he is a U.S. Professional Tennis Registry Certified. He and his wife Claudia have two daughters, both in college.
