Swimming and Diving Announces New Dive Coach

Ryan Butler Joins Siena Swimming and Diving Staff

Loudonville, N.Y. - Ryan Butler has been hired to join Paul Kueterman's Swimming and Diving staff as the new diving coach.

Butler will begin his new position immediately and handle the day-to-day instruction and monitoring of the team's divers.

"With his diving knowledge and enthusiasm, Ryan will be a great addition to Siena Swimming and Diving," said Paul Kueterman. "I look forward to having him on the staff. He will be able to provide a quality experience to our team."

Butler brings a wealth of coaching experience to Siena. Most recently, he was the diving coach for Albany Academy for Girls where he conducted diving practices in preparation for competitions. Butler was the head diving coach for the Glenbrooke Swimming and Tennis Club team in East Hartford, Conn. He developed the diving program that educated divers on the diving essentials including technique and safety.

Butler is a 2012 graduate of The College of Saint Rose. He is currently enrolled as a candidate for a Master's of Education in Professional Special Education at St. Rose.

As an undergraduate, Butler was a diver for the St. Rose Swimming and Diving team. Butler was named Northeast-10 Conference Diver of the Week twice and the Conference's Second Team for the one and three meter dives in 2012.
