LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Paul Kueterman has been announced as Siena's new head swimming and diving coach and aquatics coordinator. He replaces Greg Brown who left following the 2009-10 season.

Kueterman arrives from Vassar College where he served as the men's and women's interim head swimming and diving coach this past season. He guided the women's team to a fourth place finish in the Liberty League while the men's team finished fifth and earned its first NCAA "B" provisional qualifying time. Additionally, the swim program broke nine school records.

Kueterman was an assistant at Vassar in 2008-09.

A 2002 graduate of Millikin University, Kueterman was a four-year member of the swim team. Following graduation, Kueterman served as the assistant swim coach at The College of Wooster in Ohio from 2002-2004. He then returned to his alma mater, where he served as head coach from 2004-2007. At Millikin, he coached one All-American and one All-American Honorable Mention as well as coaching athletes to All-CCIW honors five times.

Previous to his Vassar appointment, Kueterman was the assistant swim coach at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, where the women's squad won the 2007-2008 WIAC Championships.

Kueterman holds his B.S. in exercise science from Millikin University and his M.S. in sport administration from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

Siena set a program record with 10 wins this season and finished third at the MAAC Championships.
