Swimming Hosts Saint Francis (PA) For Senior Day (Saturday - 1PM)

LOUDONVILLE, NY - Siena Swimming will compete in its final home meet of the season on Saturday as the Saints host Saint Francis (PA) at 1 p.m. The Saints will honor their four seniors; Erica Askew, Fiona Dretzka, Sinead Guy and Brigid Wynne in a special ceremony before the meet starts at 12:40 p.m.

Here’s Five Things You Need To Know About Saturday’s Meet:
1. This will be second compition of the new year after Siena opened up 2018 at LIU Post with a 123-79 loss.
2. After this meet, the Saints have just one more meet at Saint Peter’s on January 27. The meet will be against the Peacocks and LIU Brooklyn.
3. The MAAC Championship takes places from February 14 - February 17 at the ECC Burt Flickinger Center Pool in Buffalo, New York, the Saints finished seventh last season and were picked to finish seventh this year in the preseason poll
4. Two of Siena’s wins this season have been against league opponents when they took down Monmouth 175-86 and Manhattan 205-56 on November 18 on the campus of Monmouth University
5. At the ECAC Championship, the Saints finished 11th with 377 points and beat both Manhattan and Monmouth in scoring, but Fairfield finished second with a score of 830.
