Freshman Kylie George Places 4th in Event on the Final Day of the ECAC Championships

Siena Swimming wrapped up the final day of the ECAC Championships this afternoon finishing in eleventh place with 377 points. Wagner College won the ECAC championships with 1277.5 points.

Saints had a rough start up until the 200 yd breaststroke where freshman Kylie George finished in fourth place with a time of 2:24.80, followed by senior Erica Askew in ninth (2:27.06), and rounded out by sophomore Larissa Nanna (2:30.06) in 24th to give Siena a combined 47 points.

In the 200 yd butterfly junior Julianna Sebastian placed 10th with a time of 2:09.05, followed by junior Elizabeth Fournier in 13th (2:10.87) to tack on 30 more points for the Saints.

The final event for the entire meet was the 400 yd freestyle relay where the team consisting of Fournier, sophomore Katelyn Ludwicki, sophomore Carrie Bonvissuto, and sophomore Rachel Brown took 10th with a time of 3:40.00.

The Saints jump back into the pool in the new year, as they'll take on LIU Post in Brookville, NY on Saturday January 13th, 2018 at 1 p.m.
