The Saints won 14 of 16 events in an easy 156-112 victory over Canisius in Buffalo on Saturday afternoon. Kelly Pangburn, Kaitlin Krause and Dana Golino each won multiple events for Siena.
Pangburn followed up the team's vcitory in the 200-medley relay with a dominating performance in the 1000-yard freestyle. Her time of 10:43.57 was nearly two minutes faster than her next closest competitor. The senior's second victory came in the 100-yard freestyle six events later.
Galino continued the scoring with her third victory of the season in the 100-yard backstroke. The freshman finished in 1:02.61--two seconds faster than the second place finisher. Galino later earned a victory in the 100 butterfly.
Krause's first victory was in the 100-yard breaststroke as the freshmen breezed through the course in 1:10.81. In the 200-yard event later in the afternoon, she again scored a convincing win.
Other Siena winners included: Kristine Robinson (200 butterfly), senior Martha Kroll (50 freestyle), Leah Serbalik (1M Diving), Olga Kandaurova (500 free) and Kelly Collins (200 medley).
The Saints next compete on December 7 at Sacred Heart.
