The Siena swimming and diving team got back in the win column as they won seven events en route to a 134-109 triumph over Canisius.  The Saints have now won 11 of their last 12 meets against the Golden Griffs since 2001.

Siena (7-5-1) was led by Shannon Love, who finished first in both the 50 free (24.52) and 100 free (55.01).  Love would also combine with the 400 free relay team with Jacque Medina, Emily Carideo, and Megan Grace for a first place finish in the relay event (3:43.73).

Medina was also the top finisher in the 200 free with a time of 1:57.05.

Other Saints winning events included Amanda York who captured the 200 fly (2:11.80) and Kaela Bjornberg who was tops in the 200 breast (2:29.50).

The Saints started off the event with a first place finish in the 200 medley relay.  The team of Bjornberg, York, Katherine Canavan, and Amanda Podczerwinski finished with a time of 1:54.40.

One pool record was broken on the day by Canisius' (0-3) Marissa Oakey in the 1000 free with a time of 10:28.78.

Siena will now travel to the ECAC Championship for their next competition.  The three day event is held at East Meadow, N.Y. and will start Friday Nov. 30.
