Marist won seven of the 10 events it entered and sprinted to an early lead to defeat Siena 136-90 in women's swimming and diving action in Loudonville Saturday afternoon. Meghan Duffy and Emily Hensen each won multiple events for the visitors.
Marist began the meet by taking the top two spots in the 200 medley relay. Dana Golino got the Saints on track with a second place showing in the 200 free, and Ashley Serrago picked up the team's first win with a thrilling score in the 50-free. Christi Hunter followed with a convincing win in the 400 individual medley.
Duffy won both the 1M and 3M springboard events. The Red Foxes had the top three finishers at the 1M. Senior Leah Serbalik placed fourth with a score of 237.40. Freshman Jessica Shahda took third in the 3M, scoring 243.35.
Meghan Dobbins won the 100-free for the Saints in 55.82. Kaitlin Krause took the 200 breaststroke in 2:26.83.
The Saints complete their regular-season slate at Sacred Heart next Saturday.
