What I like most about Siena swimming and diving: The tight-knit, friendly, welcoming family that is the swim team
My best Siena swimming and diving moment has been: This is my first year, but being welcomed so warmly to this team is definetly one of my best moments. AlsoI remember each practicewhere everyone motivates/ cheers on each other
What I like most about Coach Kueterman: He is so genuinely caring about his athletes, not just in the pool, but in academics and life ingeneral;heis so understanding and supportive.
My superstitions are: Fear of haunted spirits/ ghosts; telepathy, poltergeist
IfI didn't swim and dive, I would: Possibly play lacrosse; that was my other favorite sport that I chose to give up to commit to swimming full-time
The player on the team who I relate to best is: Amanda Podczerwinski. She's also a science major and knows/ understands the rigors of balancing athletics and academics first hand; and she's always so supportive and positive like I try to be.
The funniest player on the team is: KatCanavan. She always has another story, especially about her dog who is basically her child.
One thing people would be surprised to know about me: I'm actually really silly and talkative outside the pool/ classroom!
My hidden talent is: Singing
If I could be on a realityTV show it would be: Keeping upwith the Kardashians- it would be funny and interesting to have that much free time and an uber-luxrious lifestyle.
What is one thing you can't do without: My cellphone (calls/ texts for fun and about schoolwork, plus internet access)
If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would go to:Europe (Italy, because I'm Italian and want to explore my heritage, or Spain because I've studied Spanish and want to learn more history and culture firsthand)
My hobbies are: Singing, reading, playing cards, collecting special edition quarters
My biggest fear is: Sea creatures (all kinds, especially whales and sharks)
If I were a crayonI would be:Green and pink mixed together. Those are my two favorite colors and I love the combo.
The best piece of advice I have gotten is: To be yourself in all situations, no matter what happens- stick to your gut instinct and morals
The person who has helped me the most is: My mother
