GENERAL: Competes in the butterfly event...Has shown tremendous improvement since the beginning of her freshman year...Outstanding team leader.

2007-08: MAAC All-Academic Team selection...Recorded first career relay victory in the 400 MR (4:19.78) versus Canisius (1/20)...Placed second overall in 200 medley relay (1:52.20) at Loyola/Mount St. Mary's (12/8)...Finished third overall in the 100 fly (1:08.28) in victory over NJIT (1/14)...Tallied four fourth place finishes in individual events.

2006-07: Recorded a trio of third place finishes and a pair of fourth place times...Had her best performance of the season at Canisius, placing third in both the 200 free and 100 fly events (1/21).

2005-06: Captured a fourth-place finish in the 200 fly versus Niagara (1/21)...Registered three fifth-place finishes, including the 200 fly versus Vermont (10/29) and Sacred Heart/Fairfield (12/3) and the 100 fly versus Niagara (1/21).

BEFORE SIENA: Lettered four years of varsity swimming and four years of varsity indoor and outdoor track at Masuk...High honors student as a scholar-athlete...First Team All-Conference selection her freshman year...Third Team All-Conference selection her senior year in track and field...Team captain for all three sports...Volunteered at "Make-A-Wish" Foundation Connecticut Chapter.

PERSONAL: Born July 9, 1987 in Norwalk, Conn....The daughter of Ken and Barbara McCann...Father has completed several Ironman Triathlons...Has a younger brother, Kevin, who is an accomplished high school swimmer and pole vaulter...An English major...Enjoys triathlons in her free time...Also recruited to swim by Fairfield, Sacred Heart, Union, Hartwick, DeSales and Muhlenburg.
