GENERAL: Outstanding desire to be fast...One of the hardest workers on the team...Shows great leadership potential.

2008-09: Won first collegiate meet in capturing the 100 fly (1:03.62) in victory over Niagara (1/17)...Led team to second place finish in her first collegiate event, the 200 medley relay in a narrow defeat against New Hampshire (10/18)...Finished in the top-10 in the 200 medley relay at the ECAC Championships...Also recorded five other top-three finishes...Swam in season-high four events vs. Saint Francis (1/24), finishing fourth in three of them.

BEFORE SIENA: Lettered four years of swimming and one each of lacrosse (defense) and outdoor track and field at Liverpool High...Member of Section III State Championship team as a junior and senior...New York High School State qualifier each of her final two years...Swim team captain her senior year...Swimming MVP as a sophomore...Holds two school and pool records for Liverpool...Member of the National Honor Society...Scholar Athlete Award recipient...Volunteered as swim lessons instructor...Volunteered at the Samaritan Center, Meals on Wheels Syracuse Chapter and Greenpoint Senior Living.

PERSONAL: Born June 14, 1990...The daughter of Richard and Carmela Litz...Has a sister, Brianna, who attends LeMoyne...An undecided major...Chose Siena for the size of the school and classrooms, teacher-to-student ratio, the welcoming people and for the swim program...Also recruited to swim for LeMoyne, SUNY-Geneseo and Nazareth College.
