    Siena's Hot Start Continues

    Saints Dispatch Sacred Heart; Now 9-3 in 2011-12

    2010-11: MAAC All-Academic Team selection for the second consecutive year...Swam top 100 breast time (1:15.22) in Siena's first win of the season over Holy Cross.

    2009-10: Named to MAAC All-Academic team...Also named to conference Honor Roll...Finished second in 400 free relay at Vermont (4:02.15)...Led off third-place 200 medley relay against Holy Cross (2:00.66).

    2008-09: Saw action in a number of events including back, IM, medley relay and short distance freestyle competitions...Contributed to third place finish in the 200 medley relay (2:03.54) in victory over Niagara (1/17)...Had season-best time of 1:06.20 in the 100 back against Manhattan/Loyola (11/15).

    BEFORE SIENA: Earned five letters swimming in the 200IM and 100 back events at Pearl River...Recipient of Dana Engelienner Swimming Achievement Award...Over span of career, named All-County First Team, Second Team, Honorable Mention, All-League and Most Improved award...Volunteer for Meals on Wheels, Random House Publishing Company, Learn to Swim and New York Sharks Aquatics.

    PERSONAL: Born November 7, 1990 in Nyack, N.Y....The daughter of William and Mary Lange...Has a younger brother, William, and a younger sister, Mary...An English major who one day hopes for a career as a journalist...Enjoys playing lacrosse...Chose Siena because she liked the campus, small class sizes and liked the swim team...Also recruited to swim by St. Rose, St. Lawrence, and Alfred University.
