2009-10: Won two individual events...Earned her first victory of the year in 1000 free at Holy Cross (11:04.30)...Also paced the pool in that event against Sacred Heart (11:05.80)...Recorded three top-three finishes in quad meet against Bryant, Canisius, and NJIT in 500 free, 1000 free, and 200 free relay...Swam to ninth place in 1650 free, 13th place in 500 free, and 14th place in 1000 free at MAAC Championships.

2008-09: Won five individual events spanning three different events...Placed second five times...Won the 1000 free (11:00.25) and finished second in both the 500 free (5:25.87) and 400 free relay (3:51.09) in victory over Holy Cross (10/29)...Paced the pool in each of the two times she swam the 1650 free...Posted a career-best time in the 100 free and swam to a 10th place finish in the 1650 free at the MAAC Championships.

2007-08: Recorded six first place individual times and one relay first place showing...Placed in the top-3 in individual and relay events on 19 occasions...Tallied first place times in both of her events, the 500 free and 1000 free at Holy Cross (10/31)...Recorded at least one first place time each in the 100 free, 200 free, 500 free, 1000 free and 1650 free.

BEFORE SIENA: Lettered five years of varsity swimming for coaches Dan and Vince McCarthy at Sweet Home...Three year team MVP...Team Captain her senior year...State qualifier and ECIC Champion.

PERSONAL: Born November 28, 1989...The daughter of Morris and Kim Fried...Has a younger brother, Daniel...Cousin Kelly O'Connell competed for the Niagara Swim Team...A finance major who one day hopes to be a Real Estate Agent...Chose Siena for, "the environment, the people, the academic and athletic programs, the food and the small campus."...Also recruited to swim for Loyola (Md.), Marist, Canisius, Niagara and Buffalo.
