2010-11: MAAC All-Academic Team selection for the second consecutive year...Helped key a 1-2-3 finish in the 100 fly against regional power New Hampshire by finishing second in 1:03.38...Finished 14th in 200 back at MAAC Championships...MAAC female nominee for the 2010-2011 NCAA Student-Athlete Sportsmanship Award for her work with the school's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

2009-10: Named to MAAC All-Academic team...Also named to conference Honor Roll...Chosen to represent Siena on Division I National Student-Athlete Advisory Committee...Led off winning 400 free relay team at Vermont...Swam seventh-fastest 200 back (2:15.44) and 200 fly (2:19.42) times in school history.

2008-09: Won two events during her rookie campaign, while also helping set a new school record in the 800 free relay...Captured pool pacing times in the 400 free relay and 100 fly in victory over Howard/NJIT (12/6)...Posted a career-best time in the 200 free of 1:59.11 in placing 12th overall at the MAAC Championships...Contributed to fourth place finish in 800 free relay at MAAC Championships in helping set new school record in the event...Posted tenth place finish in the 400 free relay at the ECAC Championships.

BEFORE SIENA: Earned four letters in swimming and one in golf at Suffern High...2007 and 2008 Speedo Sectional Qualifier...Team Captain her senior year...Recipient of the Mountie Pride, Most Dedicated Swimmer and Coaches Award as a senior...Received Unselfish Commitment to the Team award during her freshman season...Member of the honor roll all four years and high honor roll as a junior...Volunteer with the Special Olympics...Swam to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis.

PERSONAL: Born June 6, 1990...The daughter of Michael and Mary Carew...Has a younger brother, Michael...A philosophy major who aspires to be an industrial psychologist...Chose Siena for the friendly atmosphere and the relationship between students and professors...Enjoys golfing, Frisbee, and water polo in her spare time.
