In the opener, Siena (15-22, 7-3 MAAC) got on the board first off a pair of sacrifice flies by Jones and Jessika - Jo Sandrini to make the score 2-0.

Saint Peter’s (9-41, 1-11 MAAC) got their only lead of the day on a two run single by Stephanie Gilronan to make the score 3-2.

Paige Lloyd got the big and deciding knock for Siena in the fifth with a two run double scoring Jordan Sandrini and Megan Volz to make the 4-3.

The Saints would cap off their scoring in their final frame with a three run homer by Shannon Jones.  It was Jones’ fourth homerun of the season.

The second game started off similar to the first, with the Saints striking first.  Abby Carpenter cleared the bases with a double, making the Siena lead 4-0.

The Peacock scored four runs off of Alyssa Lancaster to tie the game in the second.  Sandrini allowed just three hits the rest of the way in earning the win.

Volz also added two RBI while Lancaster and Lloyd contributed one a piece.
