LAJEUNESSE ON JONES- "We're looking for Shannon to have another huge year for us offensively and defensively. We feel very fortunate to have a hitter of her ability in the middle of the lineup, which gives us confidence as a coaching staff that with runners in scoring position she will get the job done. A two-time All-MAAC selection, she has developed into the leader of the infield, and is what I describe as a pure ballplayer."

What I like most about Siena College: The friends that I have made and the experiences I have had with everyone.

Where do you see yourself in five years? I will hopefully have my doctrine in Physical Therapy and have a successful job doing something that I love.

My favorite class at Siena: Histology

My favorite spot on campus: in the weight room

Other sports I like to follow at Siena: I like to follow them all, but I have a special place in my heart for volleyball.

What I like most about Siena softball: being able to play the game that i love with some of my best friends.

My best Siena softball moment has been: Hitting a walk off homerun against Marist last season on Senior Day. I still get chills thinking about running those bases.

My superstitions: I say "It's a beautiful day to win ball games" similar to Dr. Shepherd who says " It's a beauitful day to save lives" in Greys Anatomy.

If I didn't play softball, I would: have been a dancer and been on Dance Moms

The player on the team who I relate to best is: Why? Meg Volz because we have known each other since we were 7 years old and we are always joking about how goofy we were as children.

My most overused phrase in text messages: :"hahahaha"

One thing people would be surprised to know about: I was born on Father's Day

If I could be on a reality TV show, it would be: Why? Wipeout, I already applied. It's hilarious and I want to see how hard it really is to do that!

What is that one thing you can't do without? Willy, my pillow boyfriend. It is a blue micro-bead pillow that has the shape of a bubble person. I bring that pillow on every road trip.

If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would go to: Italy. I took Italian in high school for five years and I loved every second of it. I want to go experience everything that I have learned. Plus my mom's ancestors are from Italy.

The best player I ever played against was: No clue

My biggest fear is: Having surgery and being able to feel it!

If I were a crayon, I would be this color: Macaroni and Cheese Yello- because I'd be willing to say that there is no one that says they didn't like that color and/or the name

The person who has helped me the most is: My sister
