AS A JUNIOR- Played in all 45 games, making 44 starts...Hit .197 with 25 hits...Finished with 15 RBI, the third-best total on the team, after a late-season surge...Hit safely in six of Siena's last seven games, including a 3-for-4, two-run performance at Saint Peter's (5/8)...Homered in 4-0 win over Lafayette (3/13)...Committed just two errors behind the plate in 234 chances.

AS A SOPHOMORE- Appeared in 50 games with 49 starts...Became Siena's everyday catcher...Hit .179 with eight RBI, 12 runs, 21 hits, and five steals...Went a perfect 2-for-2 against UAlbany (4/29), with a double and a run scored.

AS A FRESHMAN- Only Saint to both start in and play all 43 games...Ranked second on the team with four home runs...Hit .197 and drove in six runs...Ranked second with 12 walks...Committed just four errors, posting a .983 fielding percentage behind the dish...Threw out 20 of 65 would-be base stealers (30.8%)...Went 3-for-3 with a double against Robert Morris (3/20)...Hit safely in four of her final five games, going 6-for-19 (.316) with three runs scored...Went errorless in last 10 games behind the plate.

BEFORE SIENA- Won four varsity letters in softball...Selected to the 2008 New Hampshire Class L All-State Team...Nashua Telegraph All-Star as a sophomore, junior and senior...As a senior was named team MVP...Selected to the Union Leader and Lowell Sun 1st Team.

LAJEUNESSE ON POWLOWSKY- "Nastasha is our steady influence behind the plate. She does a tremendous job handling the pitching staff and communicating with us about calling the game. We are also looking for her to have her best offensive season as a Saint. We feel that Nastasha can be a solid gap to gap hitter who can show some power."
