Jamie Piela begins her first season as a volunteer assistant coach on Deanna Parks' staff. A 2009 graduate of Siena, Piela will work with both the pitchers and hitters.

A four-year standout for the Saints, Piela was an All-MAAC Second Team selection during her 2009 senior season. She started as both the team ace and a key hitter during her four years with the Saints.

Piela is a native of Wallington, N.J.
