GENERAL-Speedy outfielder with a knack for getting on base...Can hit for power and average...Dominated Capital Region pitching in high school...She set the single-season school records for hits (33), runs (19) and stolen bases (12) as a junior for 21-2 Colonie...The accomplishments landed her Suburban Council Player of the Year kudos as well as recognition on the 2002 Troy Record First Team...Daughter of Gerald and Catherine Griner...One of six children...Sister Christie attended Siena and Northeastern and brother John attended Hofstra...A business major...Chose Siena because of the atmosphere on campus.

AS A SOPHOMORE- Started in 41 of 45 games played, batting .373; a mark good for second on the team...Had 47 hits in 126 at bats, scoring 29 times and driving in 21 RBI's...Played a great game against Fairfield (5/2) where she had three hits in three at bats while scoring a run.

AS A FRESHMAN- Saw action in 42 games starting 39...Batted .279 and finished third on team with 34 hits and three homeruns...Scored a team-high 23 times, and drove in nine runs...On April 12, 2004 at Vermont she had a homerun, double, drove in four runs, and scored twice all on three hits.
