LAJEUNESSE ON CARPENTER - "Abby will bring stability to both corner positions right away. She has an outstanding glove and solid throwing arm that plays well on both sides of the infield. Offensively, we are looking for Abby to contribute power to our lineup; we envision her as a middle of the lineup hitter who will provide us with more RBI production."
