LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Sophomore Siena Women's Soccer goalie Taylor Booth was honored Monday for her red-hot play of late. Following consecutive shutouts, the Epping, N.H. native was named the MAAC Defensive Player of the Week.

Booth posted a 2-1 record in goal last week and made 15 saves. She added a stellar 0.33 goals against average and .938 save percentage while garnering clean sheets in the Saints' wins over Vermont and Temple.

Booth was a key factor during the Saints' recent four-game winning streak in which she totaled three shutouts and saved 22 of the 23 shots she faced.

Booth and the Saints open conference action Friday night at Niagara in a 7 p.m. kickoff.
