Oct. 24, 2000

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y.--Freshman Donielle Taylor's (Wallkill, N.Y./Wallkill Sr.) first half goal lifted the Army Black Knights (8-10/2-3 Patriot) to a 1-0 victory over Siena College (4-12-2/2-5-2 MAAC) in a women's soccer game played at Siena Field Wednesday afternoon.

The Black Knights controlled the tempo for the majority of the game, peppering Siena net-minder Lisa Miceli (East Islip, N.Y./East Islip) with 20 shots. Miceli saved seven in the final game of her career.

The Saints managed just six shots on the afternoon, failing to find the back of the net for the fifth consecutive game.

The game marked the final contest of the season for the Saints who finished with eight losses by one goal and four defeats in overtime.
