It's the moment that every young soccer player dreams of but doesn't always achieve. Years spent traveling, playing multiple games in a day, icing sore ankles and shins to be ready for the next game.

Morris Catholic High School senior Tara Sobierajski achieved her dream of being a Division One soccer player by signing her National Letter of Intent to join the Siena College Saints Women's soccer team this fall.

"We are very excited to have Tara joining our community at Siena College as a member of the women's soccer program. Tara is a composed and confident player that will provide a calming presence to the team. She is a very technical and intelligent player who has been competing at a high level for many years.

Her experience and talent will allow her to make a seamless transition and immediate impact to the college level. We are looking forward to having someone of Tara's character and quality as a part of Siena College," said Saints Coach Steve Karbowski after the signing.
