Siena College's Men's and Women's Soccer programs have been honored for their exemplary work in the classroom. Both squads recently received the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 2010-11 academic year for posting team GPA's of 3.0 or higher.

Siena men's soccer junior Jannis Opalka and women's soccer senior Ashleigh Barone have been named to the Capital One Academic All-District Soccer Teams. Opalka was a First Team District I selection, while Barone was named to the Second Team.
