Siena Denies Rider Shutout in MAAC Semi-Finals 3-1 Loss

Freshman Susie Blaisdell scored her third goal of the season in the 86th minute of the second half of the Semi-Final Round of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference in a late night cap hosted by Fairfield University.
Siena got on the board with five minutes remaining as Blaisdell lone goal was kicked off a rebound shot to the top center of the goal pass Broncs goalie Kim Carter.
The Broncs scored the first goal of the game at the 3:31 mark with Lauren Terzyk netting a shot 10 yards out on the right side of the net, aided by Stephanie Best as Saints senior goalie Noel Cox came out the box. The Broncs then went ahead, 2-0, when Kelly Burke walked in a goal less than two minutes into the second half. Tami Coyle then put her squad up, 3-0, as she hit the right corner of the goal off a pass from Stephanie Madden with 16 minutes left in the contest.
In the defeat Cox recorded five saves, while her counterpart garnered eight saves. Rider is now 12-6-2 entering the championship game, while Siena concluded its season at 10-8-1 overall.
