Haillie Price scored twice in the final 15 minutes of the match, rallying Niagara past Siena Women's Soccer 3-2 Friday night in the conference opener for both teams. Caitlin Cahalan and Brittany Pfaff both scored for the Saints.

Price tied the game in the 76th minute before scoring the decisive goal for Niagara (6-4, 1-0) with just 4:05 remaining in regulation. Siena (4-6, 0-1) had jumped out to a 2-1 lead at the half, but the Purple Eagles controlled the pace in the second half, out-shooting Siena 12-2 in the stanza.

Cahalan put Siena out front in the eighth minute, putting home a rebound attempt after Taylor D'Alfonso's breakaway bid was turned aside. Niagara however responded just 87 seconds later on Danielle Kennedy's fourth goal of the season.

In a match which featured plenty of offense, Pfaff put the Saints back on top in the 18th minute. Pfaff finished a long cross from Katie Zambrano for her team-leading third goal of the year.

Niagara out-shot Siena 21-14 and took all six of the games' corners. Taylor Booth made six saves for the Saints, while Claire Freiertag stopped five shots.

The Saints close out their MAAC opening weekend and western New York trip Sunday with a 1 p.m. kickoff at Canisius.
