Four different Black Knights scored as Army shutout Siena, 4-0, in the final game of the Army Gillette Classic in West Point, N.Y. this afternoon. With the loss, the Saints now fall to 2-3 on the season while the Black Knights improve to 5-2.

Army got the scoring started just 8:52 into the game as Kate Venable scored off a ball from Alison Mulnix. The Black Knights would go on to score two more before the half was up for a 3-0 lead at halftime.

Army sealed the victory on penalty kick about fifteen minutes into the second period, giving the Black Knights the eventual 4-0 victory.

The Black Knights held the advantage in the numbers as they fired off 25 shots to Siena's eight and launched seven corner kicks while the Saints did not see one the entire game.

Siena keeper Noel Cox made an impressive eight saves in the net for the Saints while Morgan Bennett had five stops in the cage for Black Knights.

The Saints (1-1)finished runner-up in the Tournament after defeating Lafayette 4-3 in the first game. Jen Kies, Kristen Turner and Katie Ferry were named to the All-Tournament Team.

The Saints will not have far to travel next weekend as they head to Albany to face Sacred Heart on Friday, September 19 in the first round of the tournament before matching up with neighbor, and tournament host, Albany on Sunday, September 21.
