Noel Cox '05 enters her fifth season as assistant women's soccer coach at Siena College. Cox, a four year letterwinner for the Saints, earned MAAC Goalkeeper of the Year accolades in 2002.

"Noel brings a great knowledge of the goalkeeper position and a competitive training mentality to the program," Karbowski said. "She also has a passion for, and familiarity with, Siena College which allows her to be a great motivator for the team and a strong recruiter."

Cox assists in all aspects of the program including practice preparation, player evaluation and recruiting. She is primarily involved in the training and development of the goalkeepers.

Cox recorded 294 saves over her career at Siena and posted a goals-against average under 1.0 in three of her four seasons. At the conclusion of her senior campaign, Cox was named MAAC co-Defensive Player of the Year in 2004. During that season, she helped the Saints to a program-best 7-1-1 league record and a No. 2 seed in the MAAC Tournament.

Cox posted 16 career shutouts and a .813 career save percentage.
