LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - The women's lacrosse team made a visit to the Ronald McDonald House for Charities of Albany this evening serving as `Chef's for the Day'. The Saints prepared a multi-course Italian dinner for the residing families. In an ongoing partnership with Siena Athletics, LeChase Construction of Rochester, N.Y. generously donated the food that was served today.
"Our players were ecstatic in their effort to reach out and give back to the local community," said head coach Jake McHerron. "This was a very rewarding experience for our team and we look forward to revisiting the Ronald McDonald House in the future."
This marks the second year of Siena Athletics department-wide partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities. Throughout the academic year, Siena's varsity sports teams will visit the Ronald McDonald House and serve as `Chef's for the Day'. Teams also visit children in Ronald McDonald House family room at Albany Medical Center.
