LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Women's Lacrosse Head Coach Bryana Borrelli will lead the U19 Elite team at the World Lacrosse Cup Festival at the Surrey Sports Park in Guildford, England. Borrelli and the team will play four days of competition in the hopes of taking the World Cup Lacrosse Festival Championship title.
"To experience the game at an international level is a very special thing, said Borrelli. "I am honored and grateful to have the opportunity to lead a team overseas."
The World Cup Lacrosse Festival will take place during the FIL Rathbones Women's Lacrosse World Cup, which will also be played at Surrey Sports Park. Borrelli's squad will play their first day of competition on Monday, July 17. While on the trip, the team will take a tour of Windsor Palace.
The final day of the festival is Friday, July 21 will the championship and consolation games taking place. The 2017 FIL Rathbones World Cup Championship will take place on Saturday, July 22 so the team will be able to go to the championship before heading back to the United States on Sunday, July 23.
